Accessibility Statement for the E-Flux by Road Website
Road B.V. is committed to making its digital services accessible, in accordance with the Dutch legislation transposing Directive (EU) 2019/882 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
COMPLIANCE STATUS
The Road Website is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements as set out in the Dutch implementation of Directive (EU) 2019/882 and the harmonised European standard EN 301 549. This partial compliance is due to the specific non-conformities listed below.
We are actively working to resolve these issues and are committed to achieving full compliance through continuous technical improvements and design updates.
NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT
Based on an accessibility assessment, the following accessibility issues have been identified:
Missing or incomplete text alternatives for icons: Some visual icons on the website lack descriptive text labels for screen readers Insufficient semantic structure for interactive maps: While visual maps are used (e.g., to show charging locations), an accessible alternative such as a structured list view is not consistently available
Keyboard accessibility improvements needed: Although most functionality is operable via keyboard, some interface elements are not optimally intuitive for keyboard-only users (e.g., dropdowns or filters)
These issues are being addressed in current development cycles, with updates planned for upcoming releases.
ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES WE ARE COMPLIANT WITH
The following mandatory accessibility requirements have been implemented:
- Perceivability Text and background colours provide sufficient contrast. Content is legible at 200% zoom without loss of function or content.
- Operability No unexpected timeouts or auto-logout without prior warning. Users can navigate using clear tab focus indicators. The interface does not rely on gestures or motion-only controls.
- Understandability Language used across the website is clear, simple, and free of legal or technical jargon. Buttons and links behave in a predictable, consistent manner. Input errors are clearly identified, and helpful correction suggestions are provided.
- Robustness The website works with major screen readers and magnification tools. Code is mostly modern and free from deprecated frameworks or unstable libraries. Designed to support future assistive technology development.
- Document Accessibility All digital documents (e.g., terms and conditions, privacy notices) are provided in accessible formats with proper tagging, headings, and structure.
