Our planet is in crisis, and it is our job to fix it! All climate change, pollution, and deforestation needs to stop. The consequences are severe, think loss of sea ice, accelerated rise of the sea level, intense heat waves, extinction of animals, mass migrations, and much more. Global warming is not a new topic; it’s been an important topic to discuss and work on for ten years. Looking at the last decade, we’ve a lot of progress in transitioning to a more eco friendly life. However, there is still a lot of work that needs to be done. Most work needs to come from big corporations and the government but if all individuals work together we can come a long way and make big progress as individuals.
The main causes of global warming include:
- Burning fossil fuels
- Deforestation
- Agriculture & farming
- Industrialization
- Consumerism
- Transport and vehicles
- Waste
- Oil & gas
Sadly, the list goes on and if we don’t do anything the consequences will be dreadful. Thankfully there’s a growing community that makes it a life goal to fight this problem and influence others to do the same. There are various people who inspire us and hopefully they will inspire you to do the same. That is also the reason we decided to organize the first edition of the E-Flux Beach Clean-Up. The entire E-Flux family & partners will clean up garbage from the beach and rid the oceans of some pollution.

E-Flux is part of the fight against global warming and is very passionate about it. We are in the electric vehicle (EV) industry which is a very eco-friendly method to fight global warming. The reason for this is that EV’s are responsible for overall lower emissions over their lifetime than a conventional gas/diesel engine vehicle. They help with cutting CO2 emissions which is positive for global warming. Besides this, we also frequently donate to charities, plant trees (in partnership with trees for all), organize events, and more.
The fight against global warming can only be successful if we work together. Step up and speak up! The time is now.
